Day Eleven in Mumbai

Today is again cooking class after work. So after work we again went to Kabi's house. This time it is her friend Shalini who leads the class. She comes from the north of Indian, from the mountain side. So this time we would cook food that is typical for the northern region. The preparation is not sooo complicated as last time, but it took still more than two hours until we really began to cook: peel the beans, peel the potatos, cut the vegetables. The cooking it self took also quite some time. The potatos for example would be cooked for more than an hour, until the supper gets very very thick and all is perfect. We began eating at 22:00 and it was again very delicious. The food this time is not hot at all, and has other flavors. And there is a salad and green with it. I tryed to eat with the hand, but had not figured the technic out yet, it is not that easy. We are back in the hotel again at midnight time.

FabioThe featured team mate today is Fabio. Fabio Silva is a Technical Solution Manager at IBM Brazil. So his daily job comes quite near to mine at home. Fabio is for me a very typical Brazilian: charming, confident, happy, take a positive attitude to the life. Who wonders that while the rest of us still consider a trip with the train into the city a dangerous adventure, he is already exploring India in Bangalore. He has also a hidden talent that he didn't show until yesterday: He is a language genius. While I am still struggling with the pronounciation of Indian names he had already learned a lot of words and is using them on the cooking class. Beside that is Fabio our IBM CSC Team India 1 certified photograph, here are his photos on our first cooking class last week.

Fabio works with Doug together for our client Pratham, a NGO that promotes educations especially to the less previliged population in India. They are evaluating the business of the organization and give advices about the IT-infrastructure to ensure a longlasting IT environment while the organization develops.

Seine tägliche Arbeit ähnelt also stark meine Zuhause.

Fabio serves a salad今天我要介绍Fabio。Fabio Silva(法比欧·西尔瓦)是IBM巴西的技术解决经理。
